The red jewel textures within the flesh of the blood orange and the juice in each gem of the flesh are what inspired this piece. There are few things more beautiful then what nature provides. The blood orange is as beautiful as any precious stone and certainly tastier. It is made using enamel powder fused into the surface of pink glass and slumped into a ceramic mold.
